POSTAL ASST EXAMS FEES REVISED

Sub: revision of cost of Application fee and examination fee in respect of Postal Assistant Direct Recruitment & Postmen/MG/MTS Direct Recruitment.

I am directed to intimate that, a proposal for revision of existing fee structure in respect of Direct Recruitment to the cadre of Postal Assistants was under examination for sometimes past.

2.         The matter has been examined carefully. The competent Authority in consultation with integrated Finance Wing has ordered to fix the Cost of Application and Examination fee in respect of Postal Assistant Direct Recruitment of the rates indicated below:

Category of candidates	Cost of Application	Examination fee
Unreserved and OBC candidates	Rs 100	Rs 400
SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Women	Rs 100	Exempted

3.         The Competent Authority further ordered to adopt the above structure in respect of Direct Recruitment  to the cadre of postmen / Mail Guard / multy tasking staff being conducted by Circles.

4.         This revision takes effect from the date of issue of he order. The revised operating and accounting procedure of collection of Application cost and Examination fee is being circulated separately. This orders supersedes all the previous rates fixe by the Directorate.

5.         This issues with the approval of Competent Authority.
